Hello again, Lancaster! You were perfect in June, so Mary Ann Pianka returns to her beloved hometown with round two of the bespoke event you never knew you needed: a silent disco dance adventure!

We'll walk and dance as a group around the neighborhood, listening to music in the provided special headphones. The music matches our surroundings as we pass them in real time, guiding you through an immersive odyssey! And we’ll take breaks at local bars along the way, so it's part dance party, part curated adventure, part bar crawl!

Float is a safe space for our community members to celebrate themselves, explore their city, and above all: experience JOY. (Remember joy?!) All are welcome. You can dance it alllll out, or just walk along and vibe: the night is yours! Have your own journey, or party with friends. Just don't miss it, because these are the nights to remember.

TO HAVE THE MOST FUN:

• Arrive as early as 7:30 pm to meet the community and enjoy some bevvies! But the music begins and WE DEPART AT 8:30, so don't be late!

• Please let us know if you need a discount code to attend. We will never allow capitalism to stand in the way of your joy.

• Sensible shoes required. Lewks appreciated, but optional! Wear whatever best enables your movement and makes you feel awesome! We also recommend you carry as little as possible, so break out those fanny packs, babes!

• The night will end within easy walking distance of where it began, so parking anywhere in downtown Lancaster will work!

On September 20th-28th, we’re staying in Brooklyn for our penultimate Floating Dance Party of 2025!  Kuppi Jessop is leading us back to Williamsburg for the first time since 2018, and we couldn't be more excited to show you why What Floats Around Comes Around. Your soundtrack is provided by Eric Peters, Carolina Miranda, and Kuppi, and you’ll be led by Kuppi at early waves and Carolina at late ones.

Individual tickets go on sale Monday at 5:00pm. Before then you can still reserve ten or more tickets to one event, and you’ll get each ticket at the lowest possible price. Each night, you’ll be able to take advantage of Floatcheck, our mobile coat and bag check service throughout the night. Expect the event to last about three hours, with two intermissions at bars that would prefer you pay in cash, and an outdoor afterparty. Check-in only runs thirty minutes, so do not delay! If you are late you may be left behind and may not be able to catch up.

Dress to be true to you. Wear comfortable shoes in which you can dance and run and climb and jump on even and slippery terrain. Please bring as little as possible, as Floatcheck space is more limited this year. We'll equip you with glowing headsets, and lead you on the dance party adventure of a lifetime.

The best dancing in town

every third Saturday of the month at the ADBC

Our special headphones have three channels - each one with a live DJ spinning a different genre of music. You can switch back and forth whenever you want, so you'll be able to pick your favorite to find the perfect vibe, no matter what's going on! And as always: you control your own volume. You can show off your moves, you can sit and chill - the night is yours! This is the perfect event to get introduced to silent disco and our community, or return to rage like the rockstar you are.

The brewery's spacious outdoor patio is our primary dancefloor, but we’ll have the run of the entire complex, so be sure to make time for cornhole, axe-throwing, arcade games, and a full bar with food menu!

This is an age 21+ only event, cause we're at a brewery. There’s limited paid parking in the neighborhood, so we recommend taking a rideshare or the blue or yellow Metro line to the Little Tokyo/Arts District Station down the block.

And since life's been a witch this year, we're rising from the dead as powerful as ever to bring you the dark dance party of your dreams, dripping in gore and glitz. We were bone to be wild, so if you ghouls just wanna have fun, come and Rest In Play with us at Dead Man's Float.

Ghostess with the Mostest Brittany Guthiem will slink our lost souls through the shadows of Highland Park. Fangtastic mixes to melt your face and open your undead heart provided by the wicked minds of DJ Goo (Britt) and our resident Hallowqueen Zack Ogle. Masters of storytelling and spells alike, they've been working on this one all year, and it does not disappoint.
