Camp Float - LA

Camp Float - LA

Kalaveras (map)

Were the best parts of your summer epic games of Capture the Flag, fireside sing-alongs, and a never-ending supply of orange slices? Yeah, us too. It's time for Camp Float!

Femininomenon Jess Woodworth interrupts our doom scrolling to remind us we are still young, wild, and free. She has lovingly crafted a nourishing night for our nostalgic needs, so celebrate your fearless and fabulous inner child as we play across the parking lots, playgrounds, and plazas of the NoHo Arts District.

High octane mixes featuring the greatest hits from each of your eras provided by the dynamic DJ duo of our dreams: besties MACH and Mommy LongLegs herself. Expect the unexpected from these pros, kiddos. (Then we'll prank the rival camp across the lake!)

To our new friends: What The Float facilitates safe spaces for our community members to celebrate themselves, explore their city, and above all: experience JOY. (Remember joy?!) All are welcome. Dance it alllll out, or just walk along and vibe: the night is yours! Have your own journey, or party with friends. Just don't miss it, because these are the nights to remember.

KEY INFO FOR THIS YEAR:

  • To have the best night: arrive as early as 7:30pm to meet the community and enjoy some bevvies. But the music begins and WE DEPART AT 8:30pm, so please don't be late!

(Not sure what you’re getting yourself into? That's understandable! You're so brave! It's beyond worth it; Let us explain.)

The fine print:

This is an age 21+ only event. All tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE, no questions asked, with advance notice. COVID and various other horrors persist, and if you are in any way concerned about your health, we would very much prefer you stayed home! You DO NOT need to buy the event insurance, just let us know so we can let someone else in; these events are small and they will sell out!

Not sure what you’re getting yourself into? Let us explain a little.

Each night, you’ll be able to take advantage of Floatcheck, our mobile coat and bag check service throughout the night. Expect the event to last about three hours, with two intermissions at bars that would prefer you pay in cash, and an outdoor afterparty. Check-in only runs thirty minutes, so do not delay! If you are late you may be left behind and may not be able to catch up.

Dress to be true to you. Wear comfortable shoes in which you can dance and run and climb and jump on even and slippery terrain. Please bring as little as possible, as Floatcheck space is more limited this year. We'll equip you with glowing headsets, and lead you on the dance party adventure of a lifetime.

The fine print: The horrors persist, so all tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE, no questions asked, with advance notice; if you are in any way concerned about your well-being, we would very much prefer you stayed home. Just let us know so we let someone else in; these events are small and they will sell out. This is an age 21+ only event.
