Hello, Lancaster! Mary Ann Pianka returns to her beloved hometown with the bespoke event you never knew you needed: a silent disco dance adventure! For fifteen years, What The Float has been "the best night ever" in a list of cities pining to be as authentically cool as the 717. Let's show them how it's done.

We'll walk and dance as a group around the neighborhood, listening to music in the provided special headphones. The music matches our surroundings as we pass them in real time, guiding you through an immersive odyssey. And we'll fuel up at bars along the way. So it's part dance party, part curated adventure, part bar crawl!

What The Float facilitates safe spaces for our community members to celebrate themselves, explore their city, and above all: experience JOY. (Remember joy?!) All are welcome. And the night is yours! You can dance it alllll out, or just walk along and vibe. Have your own journey, or party with friends. Just don't miss it, because these are the nights that matter.

TO HAVE THE MOST FUN:

• Arrive at 8:00 pm to meet the community and enjoy some bevvies. But the music begins and WE DEPART AT 8:30, so don't be late!

• Please let us know if you need a discount code to attend. We will never allow capitalism to stand in the way of your joy.

• Please wear sensible shoes. Lewks appreciated, but not required! Wear whatever best enables your movement and makes you feel awesome! We also recommend you carry as little as possible. Break out those fanny packs, babes!

• The night will end within easy walking distance of where it began, so parking anywhere in downtown Lancaster will work!

This is an age 21+ only event. All tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE, no questions asked, with advance notice. COVID and various other horrors persist, and if you are in any way concerned about your health, we would very much prefer you stayed home! You DO NOT need to buy the event insurance, just let us know so we can let someone else in; these events are small and they will sell out!

The best dancing in town, every third Saturday of the month at the ADBC.

Our special headphones have three channels- each one with a live DJ spinning a different genre of music. You can switch back and forth whenever you want, so you'll be able to pick your favorite to find the perfect vibe, no matter what's going on! And as always: you control your own volume. You can show off your moves, you can sit and chill- the night is yours! This is the perfect event to get introduced to silent disco and our community, or return to rage like the rockstar you are.

The brewery's spacious outdoor patio is our primary dancefloor, but we’ll have the run of the entire complex, so be sure to make time for cornhole, axe-throwing, arcade games, and a full bar with food menu!

This is an age 21+ only event, cause we're at a brewery. There’s limited paid parking in the neighborhood, so we recommend you can utilize Rideshares or taking the blue or yellow Metro line to the Little Tokyo/Arts District Station down the block.

We’ll send you dancing through the streets (and parks and plazas and train stations and malls) of Los Angeles every first weekend of the month from April- December.

You’ll lock in the lowest possible price and guarantee a ticket for one night of each of this year’s all new Floating Dance Parties. Group package deals are back on the menu as well: buy ten or more tickets to one event, and you’ll also get each ticket at the lowest possible price. Each night, you’ll be able to take advantage of Floatcheck, our mobile coat and bag check service throughout the night. Expect the event to last about three hours, with two intermissions at bars that would prefer you pay in cash, as well as an afterparty with live DJs and kitchen service. Check-in only runs thirty minutes, so do not delay! If you are late you may be left behind and may not be able to catch up.

Dress to be true to you. Wear comfortable shoes in which you can dance and run and climb and jump on even and slippery terrain. Please bring as little as possible, as Floatcheck space is more limited this year. We'll equip you with glowing headsets, and lead you on the dance party adventure of a lifetime.
