In September, set your sails toward the southern tip of Manhattan for Thar She Floats! This month Brian Weitz has assembled a perfectly piratical jaunt through FiDi, with any siren songs or sea shanties sung by Jacky Gold, Hazel Hakel & Steen Oczkus, and Brian himself. Weigh anchor and shiver your timbers, it’s time to walk the plank like it’s a runway!
All waves led by Brian & Molly Weitz except 8pm on September 20th by Hazel & Steen, and 8pm September 25th and 27th by Jacky. Tickets on sale Tuesday at 5:00pm.
It is at this point that we must reassure you that all nautical elements are purey thematic! Despite the word Float in the name, we will not be boarding any boats! We'll be dancing on foot! I know, it's very confusing, but just come dance you'll love it!
Group packages are on sale right now: buy ten or more tickets to one event, and you’ll also get each ticket at the lowest possible price. Popular nights can sell out quickly, so if you’d like to place a group order, let us know as soon as possible, otherwise individual tickets are on sale now!

Each night, you’ll be able to take advantage of Floatcheck, our mobile coat and bag check service throughout the night. Expect the event to last about three hours, with two intermissions at bars, as well as an afterparty with live DJs. Check-in only runs thirty minutes, so do not delay! If you are late you may be left behind and may not be able to catch up. If cost is an issue, please contact us, and we’ll see what we can do to get you dancing.
The fine print: The horrors persist, so all tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE, no questions asked, with advance notice; if you are in any way concerned about your well-being, we would very much prefer you stayed home. Just let us know so we let someone else in; these events are small and they will sell out. This is an age 21+ only event.
