It’s October. Spooky season. The grand finale for Float in new York City. Your last chance. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. This is St. Elmo’s Floater, and it start Octobers 15th and runs through Halloween. So we want to see saints and sinners, angels and demons, Halloween costumes meticulously planned and slapped together at the last minute alike. Give us everything, cause there’s nothing after this.
This month, we’ll be headed to the Lower East Side where Patrick Mullen II has found a few nooks and crannies that have never been Floated. He’ll be leading 8:00pm Floats, with Lexi Young leads 9:00pm waves. Plus we’ve got the NYC Float mixing debuts of Megan Allen, Daniel Ramirez and Alanna Saunders & Samuel Quiggins.
Given the current guidelines, our plan moving forward is to allow anyone fully vaccinated (who can demonstrate it with Excelsior Pass, a photo of their vax card, or the card itself, along with a matching ID) to Float without a mask.
You’ll be able to take advantage of Floatcheck, our mobile coat- and bag-check service, throughout the night (except for 9:00pm on Saturdays, when you'll only have access at the beginning and end of your journey). Expect the event to last about two and half hours, with no afterparty this time. No-questions-asked refunds will be available up until your start time.
Please join us promptly at your start time if you do not want to be left behind. Check-in is only thirty minutes, and we need to keep things moving as quickly as possible.

Simultaneously the city’s most private dance party and its most public spectacle, we'll lead you not just on a journey through the city's wide open spaces and hidden nooks, but also through the inner reaches of your own freshly liberated soul. Dance where you've never dreamed of dancing before. Reclaim your home. Join us the third and fourth weekend of every month for new dance jams, new dance spots, and new dance friends.
How to Float:
Dress to be true to you. Wear comfortable shoes in which you can dance and run and climb and jump. Please bring as little as possible, as Floatcheck space is limited. We'll equip you with glowing headsets, and lead you on the dance party adventure of a lifetime. Please arrive promptly at your start time if you do not want to be left behind.
The small print:
This is an age 21+ only event. All tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE, no questions asked, with advance notice; if you are in any way concerned about your well-being, we would very much prefer you stayed home. Just let us know so we let someone else in; these events are extremely small and they will sell out. By purchasing a ticket you are affirming this liability waiver. Without proof of full vaccination, masks will be required.
