Somehow it's already September, which means we're hurtling toward the end of Float season. We've been saving some really special stuff for the fall though, so there's no call for crying yet. This month, Jacky Gold has created an absolutely gorgeous adventure through some of our all-time favorite neighborhoods, with some not-to-be-missed surprises. Not to mention to the Float mixing debut of Nathanael Phillips & Jose Carlos and Rachel Monteleone (plus a set from Ms. Gold, of course). 8:00pm waves are led by Jacky, while 8:30 and 9:00pm waves will be guided by the T.J. Newton.
Given the current guidelines, our plan moving forward is to allow anyone fully vaccinated (who can demonstrate it with Excelsior Pass, a photo of their vax card, or the card itself, along with a matching ID) to Float without a mask.
You’ll be able to take advantage of Floatcheck, our mobile coat and bag check service, throughout the night (except for 9:00pm on Saturdays, when you'll only have access at the beginning and end of your night). What is Float:

Simultaneously the city’s most private dance party and its most public spectacle, we'll lead you not just on a journey through the city's wide open spaces and hidden nooks, but also through the inner reaches of your own freshly liberated soul. Dance where you've never dreamed of dancing before. Reclaim your home. Join us the third and fourth weekend of every month for new dance jams, new dance spots, and new dance friends.
How to Float:
Dress to be true to you. Wear comfortable shoes in which you can dance and run and climb and jump. Please bring as little as possible, as Floatcheck space is limited. We'll equip you with glowing headsets, and lead you on the dance party adventure of a lifetime. Please arrive promptly at your start time if you do not want to be left behind.
The small print:
This is an age 21+ only event. All tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE, no questions asked, with advance notice; if you are in any way concerned about your well-being, we would very much prefer you stayed home. Just let us know so we let someone else in; these events are extremely small and they will sell out. By purchasing a ticket you are affirming this liability waiver. Without proof of full vaccination, masks will be required.
