This month, we're doing that whole America's birthday thing, but we're focusing specifically on celebrating BIPOC communities, with an all artists of color set-list, and 100% of What The Float's profits headed to BLM:LA.Yes it's still a joyful dance party, even if we're engaging with some more complicated stuff than usual. We'll be Floating for a little less of the evening than usual, and instead for the second half of the night you'll have three live DJs to switch between as we transition to a stationary silent disco for as long as we can keep you dancing. Expect more than one kind of fireworks. This Float is a year in the making, and conceived and led by Megan Allen.
We're returning to our usual 8:00pm, but we have limited time in the park, so please do not be late. It takes a some effort to get out of this world! This adventure once again includes water and snacks. Oooh!
COVID isn't over yet. We’re monitoring the ever-updating public health recommendations, but our current policy is to allow folks who bring physical or photographic proof of vaccination to Float without facial coverings, while those who are not yet fully vaccinated will need to have masks ready for when they cannot physically distance.

Dress to be true to you. Wear comfortable shoes in which you can dance and run and climb and jump. Those heels are cute honey, but this is not the night! We'll equip you with glowing headsets, and lead you on the dance party adventure of a lifetime.

This is an age 18+ only event. All tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE, no questions asked, with advance notice; if you are in any way concerned about your well-being, we would very much prefer you stayed home. Just let us know so we let someone else in; these events are extremely small and they will sell out. Facial coverings will be required of anyone who can not show proof of vaccination.
