It's 2021. We made it. Float is back. For real.
On May 8th and 15th, we’ll be taking some very small groups on a big adventure under the best possible COVID safety protocols (while, yes, you sign your life away on this liability waiver). We've revamped Legends Of The Hidden Float for 2021 to start our post-COVID season in style. Part dance party, part adventure course, consider this a reintroduction to your body and the world. We'll re-acclimate you to following instructions through headphones and being around humans, then lead you off on an utterly unique adventure through the North Hollywood Park, unlike anything you've done before. Expect dancing, silliness, surprises, and, yes, goodie bags once again.
Legends Of The Hidden Float lasts approximately two hours, with a short afterparty. Choose your team: on May 8th, join the Red Jaguars at 8:00pm led by Megan Allen or the Green Monkeys at 9:00pm led by Mary Ann Pianka, while May 15th is for the Blue Barracudas, led by Megan Allen. Please arrive no more than fifteen minute early, but do be on time so you can find us in the northwest corner of the park and don't get left behind. Tickets are $25, and all gift certificates, vouchers, and sherpa tickets will be accepted.
COVID isn't over yet. Even if you are two weeks past your final vaccine dose, please plan to keep your face covered and your body six feet from others for everyone's peace of mind and safety. As more of Los Angeles gets vaccinated, and we get more data, we get to keep doing this bigger and better. RSVP available on Facebook. Tickets on sale April 15th at 12:00pm.
The fine print:
This is an age 18+ only event. Yes we are still doing mandatory facial covering and physical distancing for everyone, yes even if you're vaccinated. All tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE, no questions asked, with advance notice; if you are in any way concerned about your well-being, we would very much prefer you stayed home. Just let us know so we let someone else in; these events are extremely small and they will sell out.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE GONNA DO:
1. Buy a ticket! They’re just $25 and with pandemic-scale groups, they’ll sell out fast!
2. RSVP YES, YESYESYES, or HELL YES on the Facebook event. Pass the info on to EVERYONE you think deserves to be happy, at least for one night. Text your friends. Email them. Whatever. This is the most important thing that will ever happen.
3. READY YOUR MINDS AND BODIES FOR THE EXPERIENCE. Please ready your minds and bodies responsibly. Stretch. Hydrate. Dress to move. WEAR COMFORTABLE MOTHERFLOATING SHOES so you can dance and run and jump and climb. Those heels are cute, but this is NOT THE TIME. Dress as fancy as you wanna. We’ll make you glow.
4. Meet us at the rendezvous point fifteen minutes early to allow time for check in and temperature check. If you are late, you may, unfortunately, be left behind! We'll set you up with a pair of our glowing headphones.
5. At your designated start time, give yourself over to the voice in your headphones. The adventure has begun.
