On July 2nd, we've got a special bonus Floating Dance Party before our full-scale event, CaliFLOATication, arrives on July 9th & 16th. Let Freedom FLOAT is one night only, with an all artists of color set-list, and 100% of What The Float's profits headed to the Unique Woman's Coalition, an organization focused on uplifting Black Trans culture. So come make some joyful (silent) noise for a good cause.
We'll be Floating for a little less of the evening than usual, and instead for the second half of the night you'll have live DJs to switch among as we transition to a stationary silent disco for as long as we can keep you dancing. Megan Allen has been refining and shaping this Floating Dance Party for two years now, and you are not going to want to miss what she's cooked up.
Street parking is limited and the night ends a ways from where it begins, so - as always - we do recommend traveling by ride share. Please note the earlier than usual starting time. Not sure what you’re getting yourself into? Let us try to explain.
The fine print: COVID (still, STILL) isn't over. Please get vaccinated, get boosted, and get tested regularly, for your own sake. We expect all participants to be fully vaccinated with proof, or remain masked while with the group. All tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE, no questions asked, with advance notice; if you are in any way concerned about your well-being, we would very much prefer you stayed home. Just let us know so we can let someone else in; these events are small and they will sell out. This is an age 18+ only event.
