The world's first silent disco dance adventure makes its highly anticipated return to our nation's capitol with the bespoke event you won't be able to live without. For fifteen years What The Float has been "the best night ever" in a list of other major US cities. Let's show them how it's done.
TO OUR NEW FRIENDS:
What The Float is a roaming dance party, using silent disco gear for mobility. We walk and dance out around the neighborhood, listening to music in the provided special headphones. The music matches our surroundings as we pass them in real time, guiding you through an immersive odyssey. Part dance party and part curated adventure, with breaks to refuel along the way, the night is designed to be whatever you need it to be!
We facilitate safe spaces for our community members to celebrate themsleves, explore their city, and above all: experience JOY. (Remember joy?) All are welcome. And the night is yours! You can dance it all out, or just walk along and vibe. Have your own journey, or party with friends. Just don't miss it, because these are the nights to remember.
TO HAVE THE MOST FUN:
Arrive as early as 7:30 pm to meet the community and enjoy some bevvies. But the music begins and WE DEPART AT 8:30, so don't be late!

Sensible shoes are required! Flat and closed-toe are musts, and sneakers are best. Lewks appreciated, but optional! Wear whatever best enables your movement and makes you feel awesome. We also recommend you carry as little as possible for ease of movement. Break out those fanny packs, babes!
The night will end within easy walking distance of where it began, so parking anywhere near our starting bar is safe!

The fine print:
This is an age 21+ only event. All tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE, no questions asked, with advance notice. COVID and various other horrors persist, and if you are in any way concerned about your health, we would very much prefer you stayed home! You DO NOT need to buy the event insurance, just let us know so we can let someone else in; these events are small and they will sell out!
